At Luciano Tango Madrid, our ladies’ technique classes offer more than just dance instruction: they’re a space for followers to refine elegance, balance, and personal expression through Argentine tango. Led by master teacher Luciano Blanco—a professional dancer from Buenos Aires with over 25 years of experience in Europe and Argentina—our school offers a welcoming and professional environment in the heart of Madrid for dancers of all levels.
Master the Feminine Role in Tango with Luciano Tango
The follower’s role in tango is deeply expressive and elegant, full of subtle details that define the style and musicality of the dance. Our ladies’ technique classes focus on posture, axis control, walking with grace (yes, even in heels), and enriching your vocabulary of adornments and decorations.
Classes are structured by level:
- Beginners work on tango posture, balance, grounded steps, and body awareness.
- Intermediate to advanced students dive deeper into pivots, dissociation, embellishments, musical phrasing, and creative variations (“tango solo”).
Some sessions include barre work inspired by ballet, to enhance alignment, leg strength, and control—ideal for perfecting pivots and complex turns.
All classes are co-taught by maestro Luciano and a professional female dancer. This dual approach allows students to learn from both a leader’s and follower’s perspective, ensuring a balanced, complete training rooted in authenticity and experience.
Refine Your Adornos and Technique in Central Madrid
Luciano Blanco brings more than two decades of international experience to each class. Known for his refined style and innovative pedagogy, Luciano teaches not just steps but how to feel the music and express it with grace and confidence.
Our studio fosters a warm, supportive atmosphere where students feel safe to grow. Whether you come solo or with a partner, you’ll be welcomed into a diverse community where all genders and ages are encouraged to train. No partner is needed.
While open to all, some sessions are geared toward those with prior tango knowledge. If you’re just starting out, we recommend taking beginner classes before diving into technique training.
Our academy is centrally located near Puerta del Sol, with easy access via public transport. The studio is spacious, well-lit, and equipped with mirrors and barres to support your learning.
Whether you’re looking to polish your posture, expand your vocabulary of ladies’ adornments, or build strength and control as a follower, Luciano Tango Madrid offers the professional guidance and inspiring environment to help you grow.
